Steam Tug Taurus in HO scale by Ed Petrucci
No, this is not the much built kit, but, scratch built by Ed.  Notice the hand carved eagle above the pilot house.  Correct size chain is not commercially available in this scale, Ed simulated the chain by twisting too two small wire together.

Taurus 1  Taurus 2  Ed's technique is explained here by club member Bill Strachan who was kind enough  to make up this shop note on making small chain

Lehigh Valley RR Barge in "O" scale by Howard Williams.  Howard continues work on his barge.  It's to mate with his
RR car float and tug Seguin which we have seen at previous meetings.  That's a lot of BUD; I hope the barge isn't leaking.

Nic Damuck's Completion of the steam sloop USS Hartford.
Nic completed this model for a customer.  It was started by the customer's father in the late 1930s while in his teens.  When he was drafted into WWII the model was put in storage and never completed.  When Nic received it for completion, the hull was sound but in need of a good cleaning.  After cleaning Nic finished installing deck fittings, erected the masts and completed the rigging.  A really great restoration job by a pro.  If you have a model in need of restoration Nic can be contacted at Nic Damuck .
